Gang Free Fellowship

All began after a Science Fiction Convention, near Easter 1998. Five residents of a south-eastern town created, primary as a joke, a kind of fellowship, which at last obtained the nickname of gang —female word— following a journey of one of its members in Québec. Slowly but irremediably, attracted numerous members, even if they weren’t living in its native town.

A brief summary

A very first version of the website, with few pages and some collective works, was initiated in June 1998.

The second version, with bibliography and some members’ forewords, was launched in July 2003. Unhappily, very few times after the release of this last version, links between the members began to recede slowly during the Winter which followed, reason why the development of the site was stopped.

Even if it could be regarded as a minor update, we thought it would be significant to put online now a new introduction page of the Gang Free Fellowship for September month, especially because this page presents two members who are now laureates of the Prix Rosny aîné —in the short story category— since the last French speaking Convention of Science-Fiction which took place in Belgium two weeks ago.
