Founded in 2007, the Association Annapurna’s goal is to improve the situation of disadvantaged children in the town of Pokhara, in Nepal, to allow their schooling. As in many Asian countries, boys are more educated than girls. The association wants to differentiate itself in providing assistance primarily to young girls and women, but without neglecting the boys.
Since its founding, the association had a website, but it was actually invisible because almost unattainable. Its founders, who wish to increase their visibility on the network, asked a simple interface that can receive a clearer presentation of goals and activities of the association. The first steps of this second version emerged at the end of May 2010.
This very first appearance online is a kind of test version, released a few days before an evening presentation of the association. His goals remain modest, merely by a brief presentation —and for now only in French— the major guidelines.
